Join us for this one hour introduction to the craft of building character arcs. If you are a novellist, memoirist, playright or screenwriter you will be working with characters. 

Bafta and Awgie award winning writer Anthony Mullins will discuss the shape of character arcs and how to make a convincing character journey that fits within the structure or your story.

ABOUT THE TUTOR

Anthony is a BAFTA and AWGIE award-winning screenwriter, director and script producer. 

One of Anthony’s first short films (STOP, 2000) was nominated for the Palmes d’Or for short films at the 2000 Cannes Film Festival. One of Anthony’s first TV assignments was writing and directing two spin-off web series for the hit US television series LOST, one of which won a Primetime Emmy Award for Best Interactive Television (Dharma Wants You, 2009). 

His award-winning book Beyond the Hero’s Journey was released by New South Publishing (UNSW) in 2021. It has so far been released in Australia, the UK, the United States and will be released in China in 2023.
