Avid Reader’s commitment to quality service extends beyond the confines of our shop. Whether you're planning a conference, symposium, or festival, or your organization is hosting an author-speaker event, we can help. We can supply you with the books you need and organise a pop-up shop.

All requests are handled by a dedicated, local customer service representative who will work with you to have the best range of books suitable to your event. We always remain flexible to any changes and provide a quick response to any questions or concerns you may have. 

Here are some options:
1. Full Package

Avid Reader provides both books and bookseller(s) for the event. In order to cover these costs, we ask that a minimum number of book sales be guaranteed. See the Further Details section below.

2. Self-Sell Event

Avid Reader provides books and the host of the event arranges for their sale. We organise stock and supply of eftpos machine and cash float. A percentage of the gross sales is paid to the event organiser. This option has no minimum sales requirement. To set up a Self-Sell event, please see the Further Details section below.

3. Books as Gifts for Your Clients or Guests

If you'd like to offer the books as gifts for your clients or guests, and plan to order 20 or more copies, we can help. In most cases, with direct purchase, the books can be shipped directly to your location and we can offer a discount. The books are, however, non-returnable. See the Further Details section below.

We offer organizations of any size the opportunity to order books in bulk, with competitive pricing for large quantity orders. Books can be a wonderful way to reward your best customers, to thank your hardest-working volunteers, or to educate your staff. Whether you are buying for students, employees, conference attendees, board members, or as gifts to clients, associates, or volunteers, we can help.

4. Gift Vouchers as Corporate Gifts

Easier than flowers, alcohol, or chocolate, and more original, Avid Reader gift vouchers are the perfect gift to thank presenters, clients, volunteers, pro-bono advisers, staff, or board members. Gift vouchers can be purchased for any amount and can be used on our website.

The events team generally requires two weeks notice to ensure they can obtain the books you need in time for your event.
