Avid Reader has helped many organisations and businesses procure the books they need for their workplace, events, festivals, conferences and symposiums.
Whether you're planning a conference, festival or your organization is hosting an author-speaker we'll be happy to help with the supply of particular books and/or organising a pop-up shop.
Avid Reader’s commitment to quality service extends beyond the confines of our shop. We offer organizations of any size the opportunity to provide a dedicated pop up bookshop at their event whether large or small.
Requests are handled by a dedicated, local customer service representative who will work with you to have the best range of books suitable to your event, remain flexible to any changes, and provide a quick response to any questions or concerns.
Here are some options:
1. Full Package
Avid Reader provides both books and bookseller(s) for the event. In order to cover the costs we ask that a minimum number of book sales be guaranteed. See Further Details below.
2. Self-Sell Event
Avid Reader provides books and the host of the event arranges for their sale. We organise stock and supply eftpos machine and float. A percentage of gross sales is paid to the event organiser. This option has no minimum sales requirement. To set up a Self-Sell event, please see Further Details below.
3. Books as Gifts for Your Clients or Guests
If you'd like to offer the books as gifts for your clients or guests and plan to order 20 or more copies, we can help. In most cases with direct purchase, the books can be shipped directly to your location and we can offer a discount. The books are, however, non-returnable. See Further Details below.
We offer organizations of any size the opportunity to order books in bulk, with competitive pricing for large quantity orders. Books can be a wonderful way to reward your best customers, to thank your hardest-working volunteers, or to educate your staff. Whether you are buying for students, employees, conference attendees, board members, or as gifts to clients, associates, or volunteers, we can help.

4. Gift Vouchers as Corporate Gifts
Safer and easier than flowers, alcohol and chocolate Avid Reader gift vouchers are the perfect gift to thank presenters, clients, volunteers, pro-bono advisers, staff or board members. Gift Vouchers come in any amount, can be used on our website.

The events team generally requires two weeks notice to ensure they can obtain the books you need in time for your event.
