Isobelle Carmody - The Journey in Creative Writing Workshop
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
In store at Avid Reader Bookshop
Tickets available until 27 October 2019 12:00 PM
Join award-winning author Isobelle Carmody for a workshop on The Journey in Creative Writing.
In this workshop we will explore all aspects of the journey in creative writing, from the creative matter we can take from the journeys we make in the real world, and the way stories can be mapped on those journeys, to the structural use we can make of the journey motif and finally we will look at the inner journey that a writer must makes into themselves. Isobelle will also talk about how she makes use of the journeys she has made - both those of the spirit and the heart and her actual journeys- in various stories and books she has written.
Isobelle Carmody is a well known Australian author who has written many novels and short stories for children and adults and has a host of award winning novels to her credit.
