Brendan Fletcher’s film Mad Bastards (Winner, Deadly Awards 2011) received good reviews and the soundtrack by Alex Lloyd and the Pigram Brothers is as good if not better. Lloyd and the Pigrams (Alan & Stephen) combine their ukulele, mandolin and guitars to take us on a road trip through the Kimberley. They produce an album combining calypso, blues, ballads and alt country. Standout tracks are Slow Train, Nothing Really Matters and Catfish Blues. Kasey Chambers and Shane Nicholson also give us Sleeping Cold.
Buy this album, get your motor car on the open road, crank it up and you will be cruising with Mad Bastards.
