Kasia is an artist, arts writer and soon to be, high school art and history teacher. She has exhibited her drawings, video art, installations and set designs overseas and at home, but can’t wait to unleash her obsession with all things art on her students.

Film and literature are her other loves and inspirations that she shares with Avid Reader’s Adaptation Bookclub, co-run with film writer Jason Reed. Her greatest comforts are a coffee made by Stu at the café and the handsome collection of cookbooks that nestle beside her bed, a testament to her passion for food.

Writers that Kasia loves include Nicole Krauss, Jonathan Safran Foer, Andrew Sean Greer, Michael Ondaatje and Bruno Schultz. Her favourite artists include Eugene Carchesio, Judy Watson, Richard Tuttle, Felix Gonzales Torres and Christian Boltanski.
